Staffing & Deviation Management
Time Keys Staffing/Scheduling enables efficient resource planning/scheduling and offers functionality to in a simple and efficient way:
- Define organizational requirements in terms of the number of people with different skills.
- Create basic staffing and scheduling based on defined organizational requirements.
- Execute rescheduling of resources, for example during holidays, Christmas, etc.
- Identify and staff resource deficiencies that arise in the daily work in connection with absence.
Organizational requirements can be defined uniquely and independently between different units. Basic requirement is an organizational requirement that must apply for a longer period.
In addition to basic requirements, supplementary organizational requirements can be defined for time-limited time periods and replace the basic requirement for the given period. Examples of periods that may be relevant for supplementary organizational requirements are holiday periods, seasonal variations or fluctuations in order intake.
When an organizational requirement is defined, the system automatically submits staffing proposals to meet the organizational requirement. The staffing proposal can be accepted in its entirety or alternatively supplemented/adjusted before completion of scheduling.
Deviations/deficiencies
Time Key identifies resource shortages that occur in daily work. The reason for these shortcomings may be different types of absence or the need for additional staff in addition to defined organizational requirements.
Days with lack of resources are flagged and possible replacements are presented in order of suitability, taking into account:
- The right skills
- Available completion time
- Overtime balance/overtime ceiling
- Working time rules such as daily rest/weekly rest
- If an employee signed up as a volunteer substitute
In addition to being a tool for the management to handle daily deviations/deficiencies, it is also a tool for employees or staffing resources to easily report themselves available for work.
